We acted on behalf of a client who was a student at an International American University and had been informed by the University that he was dismissed due to his GPA being consistently below that of the average required by the University. We assisted our client by submitting representations on his behalf which included collating relevant medical evidence which evidenced the client’s and the family’s medical circumstances that directly affected his ability to perform in his failed modules. Our appeal was successful as the University provided our client with a further exceptional opportunity to retake the failed modules in order to attempt to raise his GPA and subsequently appeal the dismissal decision if applicable. Our client was pleased with this result as it offered our client the opportunity to work towards continuing with his degree.
