We acted for an undergraduate architecture student threatened with expulsion from his University, following an accusation made against him of theft of a printer from University property. Following a successful defence of the criminal allegations against him, our client instructed us to defend him in the internal University disciplinary hearing.
With a seemingly insurmountable mountain of evidence against our client, we collated the necessary evidence to craft a response statement, to present to the disciplinary board on behalf of our client. Having noted the relevant discrepancies in the evidence on his behalf through the response statement, our client attended a disciplinary board hearing to put forward his arguments orally to the board. Our client was successful at the hearing in having all of the charges against him dropped and has since been allowed to successfully graduate, been awarded his undergraduate degree and is continuing further studies at a different institution in September 2015.
