Our client came to us a second time, having won his previous case against the University, which involved allegations of plagiarism and failure to make reasonable adjustments to the exam process due to his disability. We were recently instructed by a client who had missed out on a 2:1 degree classification by a small margin. It transpired that our client had mitigating circumstances for one of the examinations that he had sat, but he was advised that he could not submit mitigation at the time due to the University operating a ‘fit to sit’ policy.

We were instructed by our client who had been found unfit to practice by his University following a Fitness to Practice Hearing. Our client had, prior to instructing us, been through the University’s appeal procedures and also the OIA, where his complaint had been rejected.

We recently successfully assisted a client who had been expelled following a Disciplinary Hearing. The University’s case was that our client’s conduct, which related to behaviour of being drunk and disorderly and allegedly being threatening and abusive to security staff, warranted his expulsion from the University.

We recently acted for a student accused of plagiarism due to failure to quote appropriately from sources used in assessed course work. We assisted our client in preparing his statement of defence in relation to the allegations highlighting that any errors were inadvertent and unintentional and highlighting the impact of any penalty upon him given his previous good character and strong marks.

We recently acted for a student in his application for university places via the UCAS system. Our client had been accepted for a place at his first choice University though had been deemed as an overseas student due to his place of birth and previous long term residence outside of the UK.
